Husband caused toddler a 1am bedtime

This is how my night went. Our 3 week old fell asleep in my arms. After 35 minutes I passed her to my husband. Which we usually do a little sooner. I then brush our toddlers teeth, change her diaper and put her PJs on. We go to the bedroom and I begin nursing her to sleep. After 20 minutes she’s still not asleep so I rock and nurse her only to be interrupted by my husband and newborn (which has been the norm for the last three weeks). This week we’ve let our toddler watch Bambi every time this has happened to quell the crying and give her a distraction while I on crying again nurse baby to sleep which has been putting bed time at 10 or 11 for our toddler (well for everyone). Anyway, I got baby to sleep by 10 in my arms. I went to tell my husband and ask if he’d be ready soon. You know what he told me?? He said that he was tired and wouldn’t be able to hold our baby while I put our toddler to sleep. He said to let her watch Bambi a second time after it was finished. Cut to the chase. I held my newborn, sleeping in my arms for three hours. From 10 pm to 1am. My toddler watched Bambi three times before she finally gave in and she’d down with her daddy. She usually cries and cries if I’m not nursing her to sleep. My husband had the nerve to say, “don’t forget to put that one down if you need to” talking about the baby. I didn’t want to put her down because as soon as I do she wakes, and this was not a time that I wanted her to wake (she’s been really fussy in the evenings). Anyway I’m just annoyed that he caused us all to stay up until 1am because he didn’t want to hold the baby for 30 minutes. 🙄 he did say he was to tired and didn’t want to drop her, but he didn’t seem that tired to me. But that’s why I’m venting here and not complaining to his face.
