What can I give my 6 month old?

Hi mommies. I need some advice. My little one is 6 months old. Up until now I have solely been breastfeeding. I want to start him on some solids. What can I give him to eat and drink that is safe at this stage?

Almost any fruit or vegetable. Meats, cheese, yogurts, anything.  Check out baby led weaving. Solid Starts on Instagram is highly recommended by a lot of people.

They *say* to start with greens..and veggies before fruits or they’ll get a taste of the sweetness of fruit and prefer that. They also *say* to start with introducing one a week. If there’s an allergic reaction, it’ll be noticed in that time period and you’d then know what from.

Literally anything you’re eating except honey. We never followed the “veggie before fruit” rule and my daughter would only eat veggies if we let her…there’s no rules really.

Just blend/mash up whatever you’re eating (with the exception of raw meats/eggs).
