Advice plz

My current girlfriend of not even a year caused a few arguments with me, and wants me to delete my ex from social media, because my partners past relationships screwed her over with it. She has said she is uncomfortable with me having my ex on social media.

Me and my ex were together for ten years , we also have a kid together. We are legit friends and platonic. It was one of those relationships where you met when you were young and dumb, and was toxic back and forth. We have the past year finally at a good civil friendship. We haven’t been together for years.

I am still friendly with my ex’s family and my daughter still sees my ex’s sisters kid, which they call themselves cousins, they grew up together.

Im a bit torn in a way, I don’t like feeling like I’m being controlled and pushed to do something, when it isn’t even a problem to begin with.

My partner is saying she’s uncomfortable and then starts spinning scenarios at me about it.

I told my partner if I was to delete my ex off social media then I’m going to tell her I’m doing it.

I have never given my partner any reason to be this insecure, but ever since she had a dream I cheated on her, it’s just escalated and she won’t let it go.

I need some advice.

I don’t like that my partner feels uncomfortable but I kinda think she’s bringing her past insecurities into our relationship because of what her ex did to her.

I’m 31 and she’s 32!
