Killian is here

Killian is here! After contractions starting on his due date then getting 2/3 minutes apart we decided to go to the hospital. I was fully planning on having a natural birth (vaginal and no drugs), however, he decided that he wanted to do things differently. His shoulders got lodged into the canal and he wouldn't come down after 30 minutes of pushing and 3 hours of waiting to see what would happen. So we had to go another route.. c section it had to be. While the operation was being preformed I couldn't help but wonder why I was being man handled! Not only were his shoulders shoved so deeply into the canal that the doctor had to basically stand on the table over the top of me and start yanking vigorously to get him loose, he was sunny side (face) up. But, despite his best efforts, we got him out and he's the most squishy, adorable little boy I could have ever hoped for!
