Ex saw me with another man and called me crying and threatened with suicide

I’m honestly scared and confused!!

My relationship with my ex was hell. Always fighting and I can really say it was all him. We would argue and he would give me the silent treatment for 1-2 days. It then started escalating up to 4 days and then 1 week without hearing from him.

It was so detrimental for me and lost so much sleep because of that.

This last argument was last week! He told me he could really live the rest of his life without hearing from me. I’m sure he said it because in the past he knows I easily forgive him. He also said that he didn’t really see me as wifey material or living a loving life. I kept texting him asking for an explanation as to why he was telling me this. I really love him and truly hurt my feelings. I begged for him to call me and explain to me how I was not wifey material. He ignored me for hours and then replied later at night with “let me sleep you’re crazy as fuck” I told him I was done with him. He laughed and said “I don’t give a fuck”

I truly am done. He thinks it’s a game. For one year I put up with his silent treatment.

Because in the past we have ignored eachother for a week I think he thought this time was the same. He probably thought he could ignore me and return to our normal life. A week went by and he never reached out as he normally would. I didn’t care either way. He was probably extending this silent treatment. He probably also didn’t think I was really done ….

Now 4 months ago, I met a group of friends at the gym. One guy started crushing on me and I told him I had a bf after he invited me out. He apologized and we stayed good gym buddies with the rest of the group.

They texted me this morning how come I haven’t been at the gym and I told them I just broke up with my ex. He texts me separately and asked me if I wanted to go get food and vent. I told him yes but I hope he didn’t think this was a date. He said he understood and just wanted to help me.

So I agreed. We had pizza and we walk out to his car. My ex was in the parking lot waiting for his order and saw us. He saw when the guy hugged me and opens the car door for me

I get my bag to reach for my cell and had 40 missed calls and voice messages where he is screaming and crying. He called me a cheater! He also he was going to kill himself with a gun he owns. I started shaking tremendously and met up with him at a park! He hugged me and cried. He said he doesn’t want to lose me. He said “we just fought why are you dating another man?” I said I wasn’t dating anyone but that I really was done. He went on his knees and cried saying do not do this to me. He was screaming!

I am now home and I have 50 texts saying I’m the love of his life and that he has been loyal to me. I’m so heartbroken as if I’m a miserable person
