Last Fish of 2023...nice morning on the river solo

Took my great Pyrenees and went on a solo fishing morning and hike. Was nice to get out and review the year and get excited for next year...even got some late morning sunshine!!! Got a nice winter steelhead that will be a nice new years dinner for the family and some frozen portions after as it was a big fish. Bonus for a change my doggo was toally happy in the cold weather and didn't try to wonder because he now sticks to me since I am pregnant.. anyone who has a Pyrenees can understand the joy of a not wondering floof. Hope everyone has a chance this weekend to take inthe last year and plan for next year. The last few have been hard in someway for everyone worldwide but there is always beauty, joy, and good. Happy new years everyone. I know my 2023 at least ended.on a beautiful note!
