Was it everything you expected?

I recently just had my first baby and he is 3 months old and I love him to death but it wasn't what I expected. He is extremely fussy to say the least. He is only content when sleeping or eating. I've got to be honest...sometimes not even then...it's driving me crazy. Not to mention I am the one who wake up with him during the night so I'm always exhausted. I can't even eat because he'll scream until I quit what I'm doing and hold him. Was your first child what you expected? Be honest. How to I enjoy this time with him? How did you get past this phase babies go through? I feel like my son is the only baby that is doing this...
