Would you try today?

I’m 6 weeks post miscarriage at 11 weeks. No D&C. My OB has been monitoring my HCG each week. It was 6000+ at the ER the night of the miscarriage. Two weeks ago, it was 9. I started my period over a week ago and (while on my period) the level tested 5 (last Tuesday). My OB is testing to “less than 5” and was out last week so the covering OB told me to test again this week. Today is a holiday, so I can test tomorrow and get results on Wednesday. With that said, I had a positive LH test today and think I’m about to ovulate. I really don’t want to sit out this cycle. I would think HCG would go down at least one over a week and I’m going to test less than 5 tomorrow, but when I get results, it will be too late to conceive this month. Would you go ahead and TTC tomorrow and Tuesday, pending results Wednesday? I think that my OB probably would not have had me test again since it was exactly 5, but the covering OB is being cautious because I’m not her patient.
