I had an ultrasound today and they measured baby to be at 8 pounds 7 oz. I am 39 weeks and my doctor suggested c section. This will be my 2nd baby. With my first I had vaginal, and she was 7 pounds 12oz. Took epidural, second degree tear. I am so confused on what to do. The doctor has worried me. She explained out all the risks of doing a normal delivery (e.g shoulder breakage, blood loss of the baby since baby is “huge”) but I simply just wanted a normal delivery. Don’t even want to opt in for a c section. Any suggestions on what I can do? Anyone everbeen in this place?! Worried mom here :(
