My 3.5 yr old just doesnt listen.

This is so hard, esp as a single mom. This age is rough!!!

For ex, I’ll tell him to put his shoes on. Sometimes he doesnt want to and I get a NO! Or he just ignores me. I know he understands. He can speak of course but mumbles words sometimes too. But I know he understands what im saying because other times he listens.

I’ll ask him over and over again to put his shoes on and sometimes, no matter the reward, song I sing, etc.. he just wont do it. So I try to offer to help him with it, its a big fat no. I try to put them on myself, he squirms away. Theres been times hes missed daycare just because he wont damn listen. Its driving me crazy and I feel like the absolute worst mom😞😭😭

Ive been potty training him for a while now too. He still doesn’t have it down completely. I feel so guilty😞😭😭
