I had this person message me on here last night/tonight.

The user has their account privated—Which I thought was a little odd but yanno privacy is privacy for a reason.

They had a lot of followers, a lot of up votes and posts so I assumed that they were well known, and wouldn’t be too much of an issue for me.

They requested a chat from me

I accepted

Then soon after they rapid fire three messages to me.

Again I thought it was odd but thought maybe they just need to chat urgently.

Accidentally sent them a screenshot of their profile (oopsie)

Then waited to respond to them until the following evening (tonight)

I kept it short

Then they soon after rapid fire 3 more messages to me

Down below will be what I think, why I think this, why we should shed light onto this topic

It was strange to me that their username on the messages was different from their name on their profile.

It was strange to me that their profile was completely private although having so many followers, upvotes and posts.

I was in an abusive relationship from 2014-2021

I was in a vulnerable state when we met. Any time I’d say we need to break up I continually kept getting reeled in with his manipulation.

Please be aware of the people you are talking to, please be mindful of what information you give out.

The reason I am making this is for the young adults that should be weary about these situations while being on apps that we think will be safe.

Not only the young adults fall victim to these situations but even grown adult women do.

Please stay safe, don’t give your address, phone number, social media information, school name to anyone you don’t know personally, what goes on here should stay here.
