Late 7 days on period but negative test

So I kinda figured my period is late due to stress I took 4 pregnancy test they all r negative. I told my boyfriend that when it comes to late periods it’s not always pregnancy and that periods can be delayed if ur irregular because of stress hormone imbalance and more. And it’s starting to annoy me cause he wants me to test until I get my period
