Does your boyfriend comment on your body?

My bf often says that he sees girls with bigger bums than me and that I need to make it bigger can’t tell if it’s a joke but he says stuff like I need a big booty girl (my bum is quite big) I’m confused is this a playful comment? 
I’m not that offended just confused my friend says her bf makes comments like this too

I wouldn’t stand for my partner comparing me to other women , that’s for sure . He may mean it playfully & you don’t seem offended by it . My husband doesn’t say i need a bigger/smaller anything . He does say things like “ look at those curves , my baby is fine “ and things of the likes 🤷🏾‍♀️

My partner does not ever compare my body to other women’s bodies. If he makes a comment about my body, it is ALWAYS complimentary. I never have to worry if he meant it to be a compliment or insult.
