6 months ago my grandparents had called me and invited us [my SO and I] on a cruise with them in January 2024. My uncle, aunt, his children, their spouses and their kids were all going too! [My parents were invited too but decided not to go]

My grandma sent us all the info that evening and we decided we wanted to go as we had 6 months to pay it off + save up spending money! We were pumped we were going to finally travel with my grandparents.

Not even 2 weeks later my grandparents pull out. They say they’ve been thinking about it and they just don’t feel their knees/bodies can do all the walking and traveling anymore. We were bummed and pulled out too once they told us that - again, because we wanted to travel and spend time with them..

Thanksgiving we do our get together and they tell us they’ve decided after all to just go on the cruise with everybody 🙄
