So I ended up in the hospital last night due to bleeding after sex (not just spotting, it was a moderate amount). And while I was at the hospital I was having consistent contractions.

I’m only 29 weeks so they gave me Terbutaline injection and that stopped the contractions but made me super shaky and nervous (which is normal).

Then they also found out I have bv which is probably causing the bleeding during sex. So they gave me the first dose of Metronidazole (oral pill). You’re supposed to take it with food but I hadn’t eaten for a while so they got me a snack. But I didn’t have much of an appetite

About 30-45 min later they discharged me and all of the all of the sudden I vomitted - it was the worst throw up I feel like I’ve ever had especially during this pregnancy lol. I’ve thrown up a few times during this pregnancy but it hasn’t really been an issue.

I just don’t know if it came from the injection or pill and I’m nervous to take the rest of the pills even if I take them with food because I do not want to vomit again like that 😭😭

Anyone had either of these medications and it made you throw up? I have been looking on Google lol and there’s not much about the injection causing nausea but the pill for BV does. I just don’t want it to happen again 😩
