Is his age affecting our chances?

My boyfriend and I are trying for a baby and it’s been 4 months and still no success.. I am not sure if he has issues because I’ve been pregnant before when I was 18 but lost it. I’m 20 now and he’s 50 but retired and I’m working 2 full time jobs so we’re both stable so I’m looking for advice on any supplements you guys have used or if u think it may be because of his age that he can’t conceive? He has no other kids n neither do I

4 months is nothing—after a year, you can talk to a fertility specialist.

It can affect but most men are fertile way past 50. Most women take 6 months or more to get pregnant so it’s not abnormal for you not to be pregnant yet either. 
Have him get his spermicide count done and just keep trying without stressing.

Have you considered going to a fertility clinic together? His age would have a significant impact on his sperm however it may not be the only reason you haven’t conceived yet

I've been trying for a year and a half with my man. I'm 21 almost 22 and he just turned 45 this month

I legit would be worried about having a child with him. You don’t want to hear it but you are still close to a child yourself… I wouldn’t trust him with a young daughter. I wouldn’t leave that man alone with an innocent child… he’s giving real predator/molester vibes.
