I will be 39 weeks pregnant on Friday and because my baby boy is measuring big i need inducing, same happened with my first son but i actually didn't know what to expect and wasn't so worried but now just thinking about being induced is making me feel anxious and sick, worse part is my consultant has told me today i will not be able to go home, i have to stay in hospital untill baby is born, with my first son they did what they had to do and i was sent home obviously none of their methods worked and i had to go on hormone drip in end (worse pain ever) Ive not dilated yet as i had my cervix checked on Sunday and i honestly hope things are going to go fast and ill be home with baby by Sunday, baby is head down and he is in correct position but i just want to know if any of you ladies have been in similar situation and what happened in end? Did you go into labour quicker with your second after being induced, just really need someone to say what its been like for them
