Is this stupid/immature?

Ok I’m in my late 20s and feel free to call me out for being immature for wanting this, I guess I just want to get other people’s opinions. Maybe I just need a reality check. I’ve been with my bf for four years. He hasn’t posted or put one picture of us as his profile picture on any social media. Granted he doesn’t use social media, but I guess I got triggered because I was looking at his facebook and saw that he posted a profile picture with his ex YEARS ago. We were all much younger and social media was more popular so I get it. I think I just got a little bothered. So yea feel free to call me out for wanting this LOL. I know it’s dumb and I’d never bring it up to him.

You’re right, this is an immature thing to worry about. You said it yourself, he is barely on social media anymore. I posted all kinds of stupid shit when it was more new and fun, and now I so rarely post I didn’t even announce my pregnancies on social media. In my experience, the people who post the most about their relationship on social media are looking for gratification that they are lacking in their relationship.

Social media doesn’t define a relationship first and foremost. You said it yourself - he doesn’t use social media and when he posted the pic of his ex that’s when he was using social media a lot. Don’t create problems that aren’t there! 
Also the people who post their SO the most on social media with all those long loving posts - usually are the most unhappy couples behind closed doors LOL.
