Is it worth it to speak with my bank about debt?

So I booked an appointment at my bank to discuss my debt.  I’m actually looking for a solution as I pay $1200 in loan fees every month and I am left with little to nothing for bills and groceries.   But now I’m starting to feel like Maybe speaking to my bank isn’t the best option as I’m not even sure how they can help.

Speak to them, but keep in mind that bankers are expected to meet quotas for banking services, eg they are essentially sales people (my husband is a former banker), they dont always have your best interest at heart. So hear options, but then think it through and perhaps consult with others prior to making a decision.
