By the time you experience ovulation pain are you too late to conceive?

I have been testing once in the morning and once at night. I got a high fertility or flashing smiley last night and then peak or solid smiley this morning.

I have been having one sided pain alllll morning.

I won’t be able to have sex till tonight, probably like another 8-9 hours and I tested positive like 6 hours ago so does that mean I’ll be too late?

We had sex last night too so that’s a little reassuring, but I’m just wondering.
