Do these tests look lighter?

Question

The third test from the bottom looks so dark but maybe my urine was more concentrated? I had a hcg draw at 4 weeks 1 day that was 783 and then at 4 weeks 3 days that was 2014. I have a history of early miscarriage so I am a nervous wreck. The bottom 2 tests seem to ge getting lighter… should I call my dr and ask for another draw? I am 4 weeks 5 days today.

No, this is normal for Pregmates. They vary so much in how much chemical they have on each strip, so the lines can’t be trended very well. That’s actually a SUPER dark Pregmate, I never got one that dark and I used Pregmates for two successful pregnancies. You could also be starting to hit the hook effect. I would stop using the Pregmates at this point. And congrats! 🙂

They don’t look particularly lighter to me. I recommend you stop testing though, line darkness isn’t a reliable way to determine anything because the concentration of HCG can vary so much from different urine specimens. If you’re super worried, get your OB to write an order for you to get bloodwork
