I'm not trying to talk shit on my BIL but he is a complete mess. My husband and his brother are really close. He's mentally ill and does drugs. He's constantly in and out of rehab. He jokes about his mental illness and drug addiction a lot. Don't get me wrong. I love his personality. He's brutally honest about him and says he knows all the staff in the rehab he goes to by name because he's been there so much. Here's the deal. I can't think of the last time he's gone more than a couple months without having a girlfriend. He's never had trouble getting a girlfriend. I know it's not my business but can anyone give me a y insight on why women may want someone like him. Like I said he has a great personality, but I couldn't be with someone who's in and out of rehab 4x a year. And he's upfront about this stuff and makes fun of himself and calls himself a crackhead. So they know what they're getting into. A bipolar drug addict with childhood trauma. Why would a woman see that and think "Yep! That's what I want!" I feel like a good personality and being funny only goes so far.
