There’s this guy I’ve been having sex with since April. I’ve always had a crush on him but he’s hot and cold for the most part and has issues. I started noticing that he’s really insecure, overly sensitive, clingy, can be harsh when he’s mad/upset, etc. I just started to be over him, he drove me crazy. But lately he gives me the attention I want. At first I was like “he’s manipulating me” but it sort of seems… genuine?? Like he’ll talk to his family and even his boss about me, for example, he one time asked his boss an insurance question for me when I told him I was upset and didn’t know what to do. The other day, he randomly invited me to stay the night when I was upset after a car accident and insisted on cuddling. Hes spending the weekend at his dad’s and he told me he was wishing he would’ve gave me a key so I could check on his cat while he was gone. He says goodnight and goodmorning. Wants to talk the whole day. Came up with a nickname for me and calls me it all the time. When I asked why he likes me more all of a sudden, he says it’s because things communication has been better, which it has.

I guess it could still be just manipulation. But I just feel like this is a lot for someone just manipulating you ?? Help??
