How do I wean myself of Sertaline?

I take sertaline hcl 25 mg daily and started it around December 21st or 22nd. I just lost my Medicaid coverage and they have been cutting my hours drastically at work. I only have about 2 weeks of pills left. How do I gradually wean myself off them?

You are already on a low dose. Maybe go down to a half a tab when you get to 5-7 tablets left.

It might be abrupt but take half and then try to take half of that, the thing is you should do this for at least two months, in my non medical opinion. I took a quarter of what you're taking for like 6 months before finally stopping. I will say that it took me a while cause I thought I wouldn't be able to cope without it but going almost 3 years without it!
