implantation bleeding??

I had my period jan 20-24 and ovulated on jan 29. so feb 4, which is 6 dpo, I noticed reddish-brown blood and that continued and gradually got lighter after a few days after and now my nipples feel sore lol. i’m supposed to get my period on the 17th so is it too early to test for pregnancy?
