What could this be

Every once and a while I see these marks on my bf and he says he doesn’t know where he gets them from or what it could be.
Can I get some opinions 🙏

If you're thinking that's a hickey, it's not. It's more like a chafing mark of some sort. What does he do for work? Is he wearing some sort of vest or other equipment that could cause it? It could be petechiae, which is just like broken capillaries. It can happen due to trauma to the skin of some sort, like rubbing/chafing or it could even be from a medical issue. Is there a reason why you need to know what this is? Having trust issues? ￼

My husband gets these if he lays on something hard (gravel, concrete whatever working on truck) or bumps into something. It’s popped blood vessels, I know you’re reaching for a hickey comment but it’s in his literal armpit area…nobody sucking that and a hickey is much more symmetrical and darker.

Stretch marks also an option. My brother had marks like this small and short ones ALL over his back as a young teen. Ended up being stretch marks. He was embarrassed about them for the longest time. I had never seen them look like that until him.
