What do I do with all my welbutrin?

I had my drs appointment yesterday to talk about how I was doing on welbutrin and my doctor decided to take me off of it. I have an entire bottle of it and I don’t know… do I just throw it in the trash? I know this is probably a stupid question but I feel like there’s probably a more proper way to dispose of medication

Take it to the pharmacy and they can properly dispose of it for you, they may even have a bin for it there.

Remove the drugs from their original container and mix it with something undesirable, such as coffee grounds or cat litter. Place it into a Ziploc bag or an empty can that you can seal or other closable container. And put it into the trash. Remove the label from the medicine container or scratch out all your info, and put that in the trash as well. ￼
