COURT HELP

Hi!!

I’m not even sure if this is relevant to post on here but I need advice. I’m 22 years old and got into a car accident a month ago. After my accident I got a citation because at the time my license was expired (for over a year). So I have to go to court (tomorrow😭) and I am SO scared. I know that is so bad to have it expired that long but in my defense I was living out of state for college, and in order to renew online I had to live in state. I was too broke to drive home just to renew my license so I waited until after I graduated. I know I know it was stupid. Anyways, I renewed my license, had to take a remedial course, pay a reinstatement fee, and also take the written, oral, and driving test again. I have never been to court so i’m not even sure if i’m supposed to bring something or what i’m supposed to say?? I don’t even know but anyways, realistically what will most likely happen. I can’t tell if this is no big deal and i’ll just leave with a fine, or if something bad could possible happen? I can’t tell because it is a citation and my license is renewed, but I know it’s a completely different situation since it was expired over a year. 😭😭
