Help!! Miscarriage or hook affect?

I’ve heard of the hook effect, but never experienced it. I have had a miscarriage before though my hCG didn’t drop until after I started bleeding, but with the two chemicals I had after that my hCG did drop before bleeding begin.

I had an extra test laying around and decided to use it because I’ve been cramping a lot and I’ve just been paranoid that I will lose this baby too so I was hoping to see that same dark blue line.

Now I think it was a bad idea😭

This test was taken when I was exactly 6 weeks pregnant and wasn’t with fmu

This is from today I’m currently 7 weeks and 4 days, also was not taken with fmu

Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal?
