blood after amniotic fluid test

long story short, i was sent to the ob due to me thinking my water may have broke. they did the amniotic fluid swab test around 1pm, and it was the most painful thing i’ve ever experienced.

i used the restroom after, it burned so so bad and there was a good bit of blood and i let the nurses know. they still discharged me.

im home now and its 1:30am and im still having a bad burning sensation when i use the restroom and still a good bit of blood.

i just want to know if this is normal to bleed and burn after this swab!

i just want to note that my baby has been active since i left the hospital and i’ve been checking his heart rate to make me feel better. i just want to know if the swab was supposed to be this painful and if im supposed to bleed like this/still be bleeding.
