I broke up with my boyfriend and his mom still messages me. I’m not sure if he told her cause she messages me things about him and I ( nothing about us being broken up ). But it’s honestly annoying and I’m not the mean type to tell her to stop. Has this happened to you before?

When she texts you just say “hey I’m assuming he hasn’t told you, but we aren’t together anymore.” And if she asks questions you can politely answer them or just tell her you’d rather he tell her the details.

I'm still friends with my ex's mom after.... 14 years? She was sweet and treated me like a daughter. Plus she agreed he was an asshole for cheating on me. In your case, I'd just flat out tell her that from the way she's talking, she might not be aware of the status of your relationship. Be careful though, she could be trying to fix y'all because she.liked.you or something of that nature.
