I was induced with my second. Super boring birth (thankfully) and was much faster than my first delivery.

With an induction idk if you are wanting to go unmedicated or not but i had epidural with both So with my first i had an elective induction at 39 weeks she was an easy 8 hour labor with a 12 minute delivery i started with the cervix softening pill and then had the balloon and pitocin (thats when i needed the epidural) the balloon was painful it feels like something is literally inside pinching your cervix as hard as it can lol and pitocin just brings contractions on but after my epidural hit i was good for the remainder...my second i opted for an elective induction bc of how smoothly my first went i ended up being in labor for 17 and a half hours my delivery was only like 3 minutes though but the reason for the agonizingly long labor was because my daughter was only 35 weeks along when they told me i was 39 so she was not ready to come at all so now I'm going into labor naturally with my 3rd i refuse to do another induction after they messed my 2nd babies gestational age up and could have seriously messed her health up if she had been even a few days earlier she would have had to stay in nicu so there are definitely pros and cons to it

Induced three times. 
First wasn’t planned. Pitocin only. I feel like because I wasn’t mentally prepared it was very hard and much more painful then my previous labor that I went into labor naturally. I did not have an epidural. It was 20 hour labor. 
I think it was mostly bad because how quickly they turned the pitocin up and that they didn’t let me labor outside my bed. 
Second was planned Cervadil and pitocin. 
24 hour labor. Really not that bad. I was able to move around take a bath and just do my thing. I did get the epidural which was awesome. No complication. Baby was out in one push. 
Third was also planned and was great. I was already 4 cm dilated and in labor but they still started me on pitocin. I got the epidural around 6 cm I wanted to wait but I was progressing super fast and was going to miss my chance. 11 hours of labor. Baby came out in 2 pushes. 
I never tore with any of my births. 
I would be induced again without complaint if I had to with this baby. 
None were elective induction. All were medically needed.

Yes. My first birth. Hypertension and growth issues. 39 weeks. Cervical softening and pitocin. Manually broke my water at 2 cm since baby was 0 station. 5 1/2 hours labor. 1 hr pushing. She was face up. 2nd degree internal and external tear. 6 weeks external stitches to heal, 8 weeks internal layer of stitches to heal. Overall not a bad experience. At 4 hours in I was 5 cm and begging for the epidural. Hour and a half later is when I started pushing. (She's the only one I had any pain meds with. Pitocin is something else. My middle son labor was 45 mins, and my youngest son was born within 20 mins of us getting to the hospital. So I didn't have time with either of them.)

I had an elective induction with my second. They started me on pitocin, that didn't do anything.. I was already 4cm when we went in fot the induction and after pitocin we decided to just get the epidural and have the dr break my water, not long after that I was ready to push! Everything went smoothly, it was a great experience!

I went in to be induced on sun morning, had baby Tue morning. Went through the Foley balloon, pessary, they broke my waters then still didn't progress, pitocin and was almost to the point of them taking me to have a C-section as there's a certain amount of time they can leave you between breaking your waters and pitocin was nearly as high a dose as they put it up to. Then it all happened very fast from contractions to baby. Will say for me it was much more painful than my two previous labours so I would go for an epidural if I had to be induced again. Also with it being my third baby I convinced myself that I would go into labour really quickly so I didn't bring a book or movies to watch 😂
 I'd read lots of terrible things about induction but it was overall a positive experience for me 💕

I was induced with my first and compared to spontaneous labor with subsequent two pregnancies, I will not agree to an induction again unless actually medically necessary. The cervadil started my contractions right away (at midnight, when they’d told me to come in. I was supposedly going to be able to sleep through the night after insertion but nope! So I began labor already exhausted). They went ahead and started pitocin a few hours later. I asked for an epidural soon after that because the pitocin contractions were way more intense (originally didn’t want an epidural). Rest of a long story short, I ended up on the OR table prepped for a c section because baby was not tolerating labor well. Thankfully my doctor in a last ditch effort was able to deliver her with forceps vaginally. My subsequent pregnancies I went into labor spontaneously and had unmedicated births in hospital. Recovery was the worst after my induction compared to the others.

I was induced with all 3 kids. I get hypertension around 36 weeks, with my first I was induced at 39 weeks, 37+4 with my second & 37+2 with my third. The first induction took 24 hrs, the second took 3 days & the third took 12 hrs. No complications with any, all vaginal deliveries. The second one was tough because it was just exhausting getting induced for 3 days straight. They were literally getting ready to just give me a c section when the baby finally came. I don’t know anything other than induction, so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ to me I don’t consider any of my births horrific or traumatic or anything awful, they were just tiring.
