Vbac or repeat c-section?

hi all,
I had my first baby in 2020. It ended up being a planned c-section due to some unexpected medical problems within the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy. 
I am now 13 weeks pregnant. My c-section is basically already scheduled for Sept 3rd, but I just found out that one of the nearby hospitals is now allowing vbacs, and I'm seriously considering it for this delivery. It would mean switching to a new OB about 45 miles away and that's where the hospital is as well. 
does anyone have any experience either with a vbac or a repeat c-section? pros and cons or any advice?

I had my first natural, with induction. My second, water broke but still needed to be induced. He turned sideways and it was too late to try and turn him. Had to go cesarean. My 3rd my doctor was all for a vbac. The stipilation was that i had to go naturally. He would not give me induction medications, but would give me a sweep. The cons with induction medications were way too risky, even though my second and third were 9 years apart. Basically he said my uterus could rupture due to the induction meds. We did 2 or 3 sweeps and i tried everything i could to bring on labor. But, i cannot go on my own. Those 3 were boys. This time its a little girl, and he changed my due Date from the 13th to the 10th (should technically be the 11th). He also told me to plan for the beginning of September. So he is not letting me get close to or go after my due Date. I'm thankful because my 3rd was born September 17th lol. And this will be 6 years apart.

I opted for a second c section and it was the best option for me. I knew exactly when I was going in. I knew exactly what to expect and what recovery would be like. To me it was the best choice

I had a C-section in 2017. My OB gave me the choice of trying for a VBAC this time or another C-section. Honestly this is my last kid (two is enough for us) so I just opted for another C-section. My first was a breeze, and honestly I’d rather be cut in my same scar than rip from vag to butt. 🥴 i already know what to expect and the healing process so i was personally comfortable with just doing it again. I do know if you require any type of help to speed labor along during the VBAC you will just end in a C-section. Warning though typically they don’t or won’t recommend  doing more than 3 csections. So if you plan on having a larger family I’d definitely try for a VBAC. Just make sure if you do choose to do a VBAC you are delivering at a hospital capable of taking care of any emergencies such as a uterine rupture.
