Full kidney? What does it mean??

I’m 22weeks pregnant and had my ultrasound, the results came back saying the baby has a full kidney( like the kidney is too full) idk what that means but anyone know what it means?? They have me going to the doctor for further evaluation.. I’m worried!!!

Both of my sons had the same thing. My first sons went away on its own but I’m still pregnant with my 2nd son, I have another appointment with mfm on Thursday for another ultrasound to see how dilated his kidneys are. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It usually resolves itself.

Kidney nephrosis is what its called. Its pretty common not super super dangerous most of the time. Youll have to talk to your ob or mfm to get more info on your specific situation.
