Fertility meds???

With having pcos, what fertility medications did your doctor try and what worked for you??? I'm 32 (33 in august) and I have pcos. Did 6 months of birth control. And now on my last cycle.of trying on our own, before our next dr visit. We go back to our fertility doctor in april. If I don't get pregnant this cycle, he would like for me to go on femara, but warned me it could take 6 cycles for it to work. Just trying to research and if neither this cycle or the next 6 work, what else are options for us before ivf. Ivf is what my dr is trying to push for if femara doesn't work. TIA for any advice!
