Switch care at 37 weeks?

Al

I have been with a group of midwives under an OB in a hospital setting for the duration of this pregnancy. Baby #3, first time using midwives. However this past week I have been extremely disappointed with the care , or rather lack there of and the sense that my concerns were an inconvenience to the midwives. They have been dismissive and the clinical support staff was outright rude. I have lost confidence in my decision to take this route. I am debating switching to an OB, however this is an involved decision obviously. I am so close and would have to pay again for the birth deposit and just the whole hassle of moving care.

I do have an appt with the overseeing OB for medical advice related to my situation on Monday. Which the midwives have to follow the Obs medical advice. Should I just stick it out the next 2-3 weeks? I am going to end up being induced. It would be nice to have support of midwives holistic approach even with an induction so that I can avoid further interventions IF they are unnecessary. But at this point I’m lacking confidence in them and their support FOR medical intervention when it’s necessary. im just overall really pissed I’m having to think about this so close to my due date. I know I pretty well know the answer. But I am trying to be reasonable. Going to consult with the OB on Monday, see the midwives Tuesday and go from there to see if I feel any better about them after all my follow up consults.
