petty or something else?
Ok see..
My ex was pretty controlling and couldn't trust me with anything, especially in the kitchen. He'd constantly interfere and adjust my cooking and messed up my dishes so I said fuck this I'm never cooking again. When I did cook, he'd tell me it's no good.
I went to culinary school!
Now that we are seperated, I am whatsapping him EVERYTHING that he said I couldn't do, I wasn't good at, I was horrible at.
He hates it 🤣
He said that I could never live on my own because I couldn't cook, I couldn't maintain a household, I couldn't keep my space clean, I couldn't keep my stuff organized, I couldn't budget.
I am paying for my rent and portion of his.
I am doing work on my kid's bike.
I am cooking.
I am cleaning.
My house is well organized, to the extreme.
I DROPPED THE ENERGY TAKING MAN that caused me to be exhausted all the time and now I have energy for 10.
I walked 30!!! Kilometers today. And cleaned and cooked and worked.
And I keep sending him all these things that I don't need him for.
(it's his weekend with our kid, so I went on a walk, but I am also an IT person and I had migrating tasks to complete and that works best in the weekend when everyone else is off)
and now he sometimes eats at my place when he drops our kid off and asks for my recipes 🙄🙄🙄
*I also don't want him back, I just want him to see how well I'm doing without a block of concrete holding me back. 😅
I think that qualifies as petty..
@Crista
EXACTLY! I feel just so grateful the entire time for just everything. Yesterday I was struggling with a huge grocery bag on my bike (I don't drive) and I actually was struggling and hurt myself a little and I wasn't annoyed I was just grateful I could do this on my own pace. I was grateful for the blossoms on the tree, I was grateful for the weather being nice.. I had a nice walk along with my heavy bike and that was absolutely perfect. I actually am experiencing a lot less hairloss and acne as well.
@Realist
For now I am paying a portion of his rent because I am still liable to pay rent for the first 6 months. I will be paying a portion of his rent for the first 3 months, so that he can get on his feet financially, because if he is not paying I will be required to pay full of that rent - As I signed that contract - and I simply cannot afford 2 full rents.
