Social work

Im so conflicted, I got my bachelor's in january (human services) and im thinking getting a MSW but im not sure because of the low pay in social work. I have only done internships in non profits and i love the idea of being helpful to people but im not sure because i know im going to burnout in this field. Im interested in mental health but im not sure what field/population i want to work with. I was thinking of becoming a therapist or mental health counselor but then again i dont really like talking to people due to shyness and low confidence. Im afraid of going for the MSW then i realize halfway its not for me. Are there other master's that are related to mental health that are better and pay better? I don't know what i want as a career.
