Does this mean twins??

I went to the ER yesterday because i couldn’t keep anything down. I was dehydrated. I’m 6 weeks 3 days. They gave me blood work and ultrasound and fluids. They didn’t let me see the ultrasound since it’s the ER I guess. Long story short when the lady came and talked to me she said my hcg levels were 124,000 and everything looked good. Well the next day they uploaded my results to my portal and I googled what the highlighted part says and all I can find it linked to is twins. Is the term monochorionic monoamniotic only used to describe twins or is this a term used in single fetus pregnancies as well?

I think you need to ring for clarification as technically speaking, it just means there’s one placenta (monochorionic) and one sac (monoamniotic) so could just be a normal singleton pregnancy. But usually these terms are used to describe a rare form of twin pregnancy where the foetuses share one sac but also just one placenta. 
If I was just reading this medically, I would say it’s a normal and healthy looking singleton pregnancy as it doesn’t say anything about multiple embryos and there is only one heart rate also. 
But as I said, you should maybe call to confirm.

No that is a single pregnancy with twins they would give you measurements for both babies.

Update: I’m having ONE baby. I called the ER back and they said they never should have put those terms in the report because it is a given that every singleton pregnancy is one placenta and one amniotic sac

Id definitely be calling for clarification as they only talk about one fetus but the terminology is often used in twin pregnancies? Maybe they just mean you have 1 sac and one placenta like any other singleton pregnancy. Definitely confusing.

I've never seen it used in anything but with momo twin pregnancies. I'd be calling my ob to verify if they are not calling you.

Yes it’s twins 
“Fetal heart tones are detected” is plural. Along with the terminology of mono mono

Looking it up, it’s identical twins, but it’s only showing 1 hb. But that doesn’t necessarily mean your not having twins. But I feel if the second one was undetectable, they would’ve noted that. As for them not letting you see the ultrasound, that’s kinda Bs. I’ve had many ultrasounds in the Ed, or during observation on the ob floor, and I’ve never been denied being able to see the screen.

As far as I know yes. I've only heard that to describe twins that share a sac and a placenta.
