Your WBCs will probably be high on the CBCs, but I would still get the blood work done.

Depends on what blood work is being run. I got blood work done for allergies years ago and they rang me up because my white blood cell count was high and they were concerned. Luckily it was only because I had a sinus infection and tonsillitis back to back, however I had to get my bloods taken again a few weeks later to repeat the testing. So yea if you have an infection this can cause different results to your white blood cell count.
