How should I do my makeup?

I recently got my hair done it's burgundy to blonde but you can't tell because my phone camera sucks. I'm also getting jaw surgery soon and I'm very insecure about how my mouth looks now so I'm sort of excited to have a new smile and not be put down all the time for me.I'm also a new mom so this year brings a lot of changes.How should I do my makeup could anyone give me tips?

Well you have beautiful eyes so a smokey eye could help draw attention there, but I think even just some mascara and eyeliner to make them pop more would be nice. If you're feeling more confident after the surgery maybe go for a bold red or dark colored lipstick and subtle eye makeup to draw attention to your smile.

Don't feel insecure! You're so pretty! Definitely go with a light pink lipstick, something soft and not overpowering to bring attention to your new smile. Even add a lip liner to create a fuller lip if you'd like. And "earth tone" eyeshadows go well with any eye color. Stick with light browns and have a shimmery cream highlighter under your brow. I have a go to way of doing mine and always get compliments! I can add a pic if you'd like. Brush your eyebrows for a neater look plus to get off any excess makeup. Definitely mascara! I love mascara lol, personal choice of black or brown. And for the face, I use Kat von d lock it foundation which works wonders, with physicans formula powder (at any drug store) with blush. You'll need to stick with a light pink on the apple of your cheeks, do not get anything dark!! I use Almay smart shade. Use brushes for everything, fingers have oils plus brushes make a better blend. But don't be afraid to try new things! You can always Google tutorials or what looks best with your eye color/shape or skin tone. Hope this helps!
