Would it be wrong to get long term birth control and not tell my so. We are married but a lot of things happened shortly after saying I do that lead me to believe long term birth control is my best option.

Definitely not wrong for you to make that decision, but not being honest about it or hiding it from your husband is definitely wrong. Nothing good will come out of secrecy in a marriage.

It’s your choice to get it. Period. However, I think it’s important to communicate that you’re actually doing it. I would say it’s “wrong”, bc it’s your body and your choice, but in terms of being in a marriage, I don’t think you shouldn’t tell them.

It's not wrong to take ownership of your body and your fertility, but it's not healthy in a marriage to keep secrets and make big decisions without consulting your partner. IMO, I've had two 5yr IUD's and been married 10 years.
