breakup: how do i do it?

i have a boyfriend in church (unironically, the pastor’s son). i find myself losing interest as we live in different cities but see each other twice a week due to church. now, the confliction settles in when i realize i want to leave him because it feels like i’m dragging dead weight. but it’d be very awkward to see him at church, there’s a lot more to the story but why make it long. he’s cheated &’ done things i’ve forgiven him for. before, i loved him like crazy, now? now, i just want to break up but not sure how. i really need advice, i miss being single.
