Weight loss and birth control?

Has anyone else found it really hard to lose weight on birth control? I’ve been on different variety’s of the pill, currently on nextelles or however you spell it, and I cannot for the life of me lose weight! I’ve gained about 30lbs postpartum and it’s soooo hard for me to lose it..any tips? I’m struggling with confidence both personally and sexually because my weight. I hate it.

Definitely. I've lost nearly 30lbs since coming off birth control in November or December.
Hormonal BC makes me gain excessive amounts of weight. For some reason it is not good for me. And if I stop taking it my weight eventually starts to drop.  I used to be a size 4. In highschool I went on BC and gained weight until I was a size 8/9. Stopped taking it, became a size 6. New bf, started taking it again and gained 40 lbs and became a side 12. Stopped taking it and became a size 8. New boyfriend again - gained 60-70lbs. Became a size 16. I'm off it completely now and trending down to a 12/14.
Birth control is rough. I can't wait for the male option. And Im not taking it ever again. My doctor says it just doesn't agree with me for some reason. Makes me so fat and impossible to lose more than 5 lbs while on it.
