Labor signs?

Question

I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and three days! I know labor and labor signs are different for everyone, but I’m still curious! What were some of your signs that time to meet your baby was clear on its way!
Also any tips for delivering a baby? How did you deal with contractions and pushing?

I started off having cramping in my lower back. At first they were like 30 or 40 min's apart. They started getting more intense and closer together. Once they were consistent I knew I was in labor. By the time they were coming every 3 min's I went to the hospital.  The cramps are pretty intense. Way worse than period cramps, kind of like you really really really have to go to the bathroom. Right before I left for the hospital I started bleeding a little bit.

I went to hospital for check up cos I had awful back pain they did examination and told me I was at 6cm without knowing before I went to hospital I  felt the urge to push or go for nr2 for 2 weeks and was in slow labour since nov16 without knowing then he was born at 22nov via c section cat1

Ask for a birthing ball! I was induced with my third and while contractions were started I sat on a birthing ball until I hit around 4cm and it helped so much, I barley even felt the contractions until I got off the ball. I got my epidural by 8cm, they broke my water just after 5cm and they came hard and fast! So if the offer to break your water just keep in mind you will start to feel much stronger and more painful contractions after because that cushion is now gone. 
As for signs, gosh it’s so hard to remember, with my first I just was calmly getting my bag finished told my husband the last few things to grab in the morning and he thought I was crazy. I had diarrhea around bed time and some poop cramps but was fine after, my water broke at 4am and contractions started.
My daughter I was overdue, I lost my mucus 8 days before. I had a membrane sweep I think before my plug came out, then four days over due I had watery chunks of my plug coming out with bloody streaks in it. I woke up to contractions at 3am that night.
And my third I was induced!

I lean into contractions stop what I’m doing and think about them moving the baby down. As far as pushing I do Knees in Feet out it opens up the pelvis also I try to wait until I’m at the last station, sometimes we can be 10 cm buy our body isn’t ready to push but we try because of the 10. I also try to stay upright laying on my back and pushing always hurts way more. These are just what have worked for me, just listen to what your body wants. That’s all the advice I can think of.
