Would you still announce you had a rainbow baby but if it was with your ex?

If you and your ex had a miscarriage and you got into a new relationship, and finally got pregnant, would you still announce this as a rainbow baby??? Genuine question.

Personally, no. Im pregnant with “rainbow baby” and the whole concept makes me cringe a little. My friends and family obviously know this is a pregnancy after loss, but I didn’t announce it that way to everyone else. With the loss being with your ex, it also kinda brings him back into the mix and idk if id want to do that with a pregnancy announcement. That also maybe information he doesn’t want brought up or shared since you’ve seemingly both moved on.
