Positive NIPT for Down Syndrome
I got a phone call yesterday from my midwife telling me there was a 71% chance my baby has DS. I didn’t have time to think of questions right then in there because it was a lot of information thrown at me. Does it mean that my baby has a 71% chance it will have DS? Or is it a 1 in 71 chance it will? I’m scared and confused 😔
I have a CVS scheduled for next Tuesday
