Membrane sweep

I had a sweep yesterday morning at 38+4, I’m booked in for my induction next week at 39+4 but hoping I can get this chunky boy out before that. I’ve had some cramps since the sweep, lost my mucus plug and have some spotting (spotting straight after the sweep for a couple hours then it stopped and started back up today), loose bowel movements and so extremely tired. Just looking for some hope that I may be going into labour soon, has anyone had a sweep that has helped them go into labour? And what symptoms did you have before it started?
