I’m dating my boyfriend for 3 months he got laid off his last job so I understood…. He has been looking for a job and nothing it it’s a lil hard for him since he doesn’t have a car, I have two jobs and a boy I still live w my parents though I’m not saying I’m all that and stuff I just barley got on my feet I just  graduated. Now he wants to use my stuff. And asks me for stuff even though I have two jobs I’m still on a budget because of my car payment and baby … he lives w his grandma and how I guess his grandma doesn’t want him there I feel horrible idk what to do ….. I want to help him out but I can’t I’m so tired and stressed already he wants to move out w me and find our own place but I don’t want to pay everything in my own I won’t be able to I feel so bad for his situation

At 3 months, you shouldnt bank roll anything for a partner. Get to know eachother but dont combine money or expenses in any way.

He is responsible for his own life choices and his own lifestyle. You are by no means obligated to put forth money for him to live off of. His money issues are his problem, especially if you're not married. 
It doesn't matter if someone is poor or rich but what does matter is if they're responsible enough to live on their own. If they can't, they should not be relying on someone they're dating to provide a living for them. Simple as that.

Honestly I think 3 months is too early for him to be asking for you to help him financially. I could understand a little bit if you were in a long term relationship, I help my bf out sometimes and he helps me out sometimes but that’s because I know it will be reciprocated and he’s not just using me. Getting laid off sucks for sure but definitely don’t move in with him, especially considering he doesn’t have a job yet and Im assuming he’s not the father of your baby so he does not need to be around your baby this soon.

3 months is way too early for him to be asking for any kind of financial help and that’s a red flag to me. I’d want someone who is financially stable.

I think it's OK to hang in there while your partner finds a new job, but do not move in with somebody you've only been with for three months first of all. Second of all, do not move in with someone who does not have a stable job. Unless you want to become his next caretaker, don't do it. And please create boundaries as far as what you will allow him to borrow from you. It is OK to say no. ￼￼
