Is bleeding from your anus a sign of menopause?

Hello ladies,

I’m worried…

Does blood sometimes appear after when you’re finish doing your business, and you wipe your behind and see bits of blood on the toilet paper?

Is that normal?

My mother was freaking out earlier thinking she got her period, but it’s only a week or so away.

She is going through perimenopause and has all the symptoms a woman going through perimenopause has.

She’s in her mid-forties.

Is seeing blood on toilet paper after pooing a sign of perimenopause?

She was feeling a little dizzy as well. Another symptom was not being able to sleep well the night before. She was bothered by the night light which was a white bright light and can color change. She developed a migraine, so we changed it to red. It was almost completely dark. It was nice, and she told me she felt better. I hope she’s OK. Thank you!
